Cat Invaders Player Guides
Classes, loadouts, and who should stand on the fish when the lobby is chaos.
The Players hub is for people, not for codes. Cat Invaders lets you queue solo or drop into an online co-op server of up to 18. That difference decides whether you are a Snowman island or a Medic in a group that refuses to buy food. Child pages: classes, builds, and Engineer from Version 1.1.
If you want letters instead of jobs, use the class tier list. If you want buttons, use controls. If you want shopping, use upgrade priority.
What a player actually does
You are a moving turret with a grocery list. The fish pile is the objective. Gold is the constraint. Classes change how you fail: Knights fail by standing in lasers, Medics fail by never buying heals, Snowmen fail by standing in their own splash, unassigned players fail by all buying melee.
A good lobby names three jobs out loud:
- Clear — ranged splash, usually Snowman-shaped.
- Hold — fish and walls, often Knight.
- Save — Medic with food.
Everyone else is extra splash or extra problems. Builds writes those jobs as shopping lists.
Solo players
Solo is a first-class mode, not a punishment. Spawns clump, pause belongs to you, and Getting Started is written for that. You still need food. You still need to kite Floppa. You do not need a Medic if you never go down, which is a skill issue the high-wave guide is happy to discuss.
Co-op players
Invite friends into the same Roblox server. There is no local split-screen. Public 18-player matches are content; they are not a plan. If nobody calls pause, you will watch six shops open while a cat eats dinner.
Ping the fish. Ping the boss. Do not ping the meme unless the wipe already happened.
Progression identity
- Day 1 — codes, melee bootstrap, ranged, Floppa homework.
- Day 7 — Alchemist daily if you logged in. See classes page.
- Badge hunter — Welcome is free. Defeat Floppa is the first real stamp. Wave 100+ is a lifestyle. Tracker: badges.
- Script user — you are still a player with a ToS risk. Read scripts before you AFK in a public server.
When the meta is you
If your friends keep dying, you are the Medic even if the tier list says Snowman is S. If you keep dying, you are the Knight who forgot armor. Tiers are a prior, not a personality test.
Open player classes for kit notes, Engineer if you unlocked the Version 1.1 turret kit, and builds for Gold splits. Come back here when the lobby asks “what should I play?” and you need a one-sentence answer: splash if solo, Medic if people are involved, Knight if you keep dying, Engineer if the lane needs a turret and your gun already works.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Cat Invaders questions.
Is Cat Invaders multiplayer?
Yes. Online co-op on servers of up to 18, plus a fully playable solo mode.
What class should I main?
Snowman solo, Medic in groups. Details on the class and builds pages.
Do loadouts persist?
Classes and account unlocks persist. Gold spending is per run, so your "loadout" is a shopping plan.
Can I change class mid-wave?
Use the in-game class shop when it is available. Do not expect a free respec during Maxwell.
